In most cases of child sexual abuse, the perpetrators range from neighbours to uncles to maids, and are usually the last people the parents would suspect. Unfortunately, societal norms make these issues taboo and closed for discussion, which ensures that such traumatizing events become a part of the children’s existence and scar them for life. Aarti for Girls, wanted to communicate this issue to the parents, to ensure that they understand its grave nature and take preventive measures to ensure their children remained protected.
